What is Panoramic Flights Croatia?Panoramic Flights Croatia is a flight-sharing platform where pilots and passangers share costs on flights above beautiful country of Croatia. This means people can enjoy flying over some of the most beautiful sites in Croatia for less money and without tedious check-ins or waiting in line. You will experience Croatia and its beauty in the best way possible - from above! Carefully planned routes will take you to biggest tourist attractions as well as those hidden gems.

What type of aeroplanes will I be flying in?Most of the flights are done with a small single-engine aircraft like Cessna 172. These aircraft can take up to 3 passangers (pilot + 3 passangers).

Is it safe?Yes! Shared flights are as safe as road transport in which you engage daily. Panoramic Flights Croatia has even taken a step forward regarding safety. Unlike other European flight-sharing platforms that only require a PPL (Private Pilot's Licence), 45 hours of flight time experience and routes planned by the pilots, Panoramic Flights Croatia requires pilots to have a CPL (Commercial Pilot's Licence) and a minimum of 200 hours of flight time. In addition, routes are carefully planned by experienced pilots and aeronautical engineers to provide you with extra safety and an enhanced experience.

Is it legal?Yes! Flight sharing is regulated and legal in Europe. The European AIR OPS regulation N ° 965/2012 on flight sharing allows pilots to share flights with passengers. However, they are not allowed to make a profit. Cost shared flights operated by private individuals fall under European Regulation (EU) No 379/2014 of 7th of April 2014, amending Commission Regulation (EU) No 965/2012. Flights can be legally cost-shared by private individuals on non-complex aeroplanes and helicopters, in accordance with the rules of Part NCO, on the condition that the direct costs are shared by all occupants of the aircraft, pilot included, while the number of people sharing the direct cost is limited to 6.

Where can I fly in Croatia?You can choose from number of our carefully pre-planned routes we've created for your best experience, but if you want so see something else or fly to a different location send us a message. In that case we will create a new flight for you and connect you to a pilot that is available during that time.

Can I take luggage?Weight limits will vary by the type of an aircraft and the number of passengers. As a passenger, you will be asked to provide your weight and that of any individuals in your party. Weight limits are extremely important on smaller aircraft, therefore we ask that you submit accurate information and respect any luggage restrictions. Pilots may refuse to carry any passengers who submit inaccurate information. Usually small bags will be allowed but check with your pilot if you intend to bring a big suitcase.

What if the weather is bad?It is a pilot's decision will he make the flight or will it be canceled. Pilot will contact you 24 hours before the flight to confirm that you are coming to the airport and to inform you of the forcasted weather and flight specifics. If the weather is forcasted to be marginal, the pilot will inform you if the flight is cancelled or not. In the event that the flight is canceled, you will get a chance to reschedule your flight or get a full refund.

How do I book a flight?It's simple! You can either: 1. Book a flight by clicking on a FLIGHT menu button, than choosing a desired starting point (closest to you) and then choose a route you want to fly, choose a date and time and click on book now. You can then pay for the flight. When done, you'll get a confirmation email and you are ready to go! or... 2. Send us a message with a contact form on the bottom of the webpage. You can request one of our pre-planned routes or propose a new one of your own. After receiving your email, we'll confirm your request and send you payment instructions. Then, after we receive your payment, you'll get a confirmation email.

What if my flight is canceled?Your flight could be canceled because of eaither bad weather or pilot/aircraft unavailability. In both situations, you will be notified 24 hours before your booking and will be given a chance to rebook for another day or receive a full refund!

Will I get a refund if we don't take off?Yes! You will be given a 100%full refund if for any reason the flight is canceled or if you cancel it 24 hours prior your flight. In the event that you cancel your flight later that 24 hours before the flight, you won't be refunded your booking fee.

How can I cancel my flight?You are able to cancel your flight up to 48 hours prior to your flight and you will receive a full refund. Simply send us an email that you wish to cancel your flight by using a contact form on the bottom of the page or send an e-mail directly to panoramicflightscroatia@gmail.com. But keep in mind that if you cancel your flight later than 48 hours prior your flight, you won't receive any refund of your booking fee.

How do I pay for a flight?Payment for the flight is done while making the booking. All types of credit and debit cards from all over the world are accepted by our payment system.

Can I tip the pilot?No. The pilot cannot have any kind of profit by the rules of flight-sharing platforms.

How is it to fly in a small airplane?There is a big difference flying in a small airplane versus a big transport airplane. In a small airplane you have a much better view, simply because the windows are a lot bigger. In addition, the wings are above you, so you also get a better view of the soroundings below you. What about turbulence? Well, since we fly only in nice weather, you don't have to worry about unconfortable forces. The flight is calm and enjoyable!

Can children fly?Yes. If an adult passenger is present. Kids from 2 years of age and older are welcome! Note: A child can not sit in a lap of the adult. A child is considered as a passenger.

Can I buy this as a gift?Yes. Just leave your information bellow and tell us what flight or what amount would you like to give as a gift. We will make a gift voucher and send it to your email address. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months and a person can use them anytime they want to.
